Terms & refunds
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms cover the Mochi app for Mac and Windows, its phone page, the friends features and Mochi Plus. By using Mochi you agree to them. In plain words: be nice, and if Plus isn't for you, you get your money back.
1. The free app
Mochi is free to download and use. It's made by one person and provided as it is: I do my best to keep it working and your data safe, but I can't promise it will always be free of bugs or available without interruption.
2. Your account and friends
- To use friends features you make an account with an email and a username. Keep your password to yourself.
- Don't use Mochi to harass, spam or impersonate other people, and don't try to break or overload the friends server. Accounts that do may be removed.
- You can have your account deleted at any time by writing to me.
3. Mochi Plus
- Plus costs €3.99 a month or €29 a year, shown with any tax for your country at checkout.
- Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which is the seller (merchant of record) of every Plus purchase. Their buyer terms apply to the payment itself.
- Plus is a subscription: it renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time with the link in your receipt email; Plus then stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- You get a license key by email. It's for your personal use and works on up to 3 computers at a time. Please don't share or resell it.
- Plus unlocks extra things (like the ⭐ Plus corner of the wardrobe). Everything that was free stays free; Plus never takes free features away.
4. Refunds
14 days, no questions asked. If you're not happy with Plus, write to Fefo.leo51@gmail.com within 14 days of a payment (the first one or a renewal) and you'll get a full refund for that payment. The license key then stops working.
This doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
5. Changes
Mochi keeps getting updated, so features can change. If these terms change in a way that matters, the app or this page will say so before it takes effect. If prices for Plus change, it applies from your next renewal and you can cancel before that.
6. Liability
I'm liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for harm to life, body or health. For slight negligence, I'm only liable for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the damage that was typical and foreseeable. Otherwise, liability is excluded as far as the law allows. Mochi is a habit and fun app, not medical advice.
7. Law
German law applies, without taking away any protection the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
